秋保大滝そばにあるガラス工房です。数百、数千ものパーツを組み上げて作る、「モザイクガラス」を制作しています。透明と不透明のガラスをさまざまに組み合わせて、無限な色彩が織りなす世界を追求しています。

We are a glass workshop located next to Akiu Great Falls. We create mosaic glass, which is composed of several hundreds or several thousands of parts. We are looking for a world where an infinite amount of hues interweave with each other by combining transparent and opaque glass in all kinds of different ways.

熱でやわらかくしたガラス同士を溶着して作り上げてゆく「フュージング技法」を主に用いています。リズミックに配置され、重なりあった色彩が、光を受けて命を得、独特の美しさを生みます。

We mainly use the fusing technique, in which glass is softened by heat and then bonded together. The rhythmic arrangement and overlapping of colors catches the light and comes to life, creating something uniquely beautiful.

器・花器・茶道具・アート作品などさまざまなオリジナルのガラス作品を展示しています。日本の伝統文化や風土から受けた心象風景をガラスで表現できればと思っています。「モザイクガラス」が奏でる豊かな色彩の世界をお楽しみください。

We exhibit many different kinds of original glass work, including tableware, vases, tea utensils, and pieces of art. We hope to be able to use glass to express the imagined landscape that the traditional culture and natural features of Japan have given us.
